After the collapse of the first sunshine skyway bridge, it had been replaced by the present bridge, and therefore the original one converted into the longest fishing pier within the world. Really it's a tremendous spot for fishing. The pier is open 24/7. It cost 4$ per adult and 4$ per vehicle for entrance and 2$ for 6-12 years child. The common catches are snook, tarpon, Spanish mackerel, grouper, Black Sea bass, cavalla, red snapper, pompano, cobia, sheepshead and lots of more. Snacks, drinks, bait and fishing supplies are available for purchase.
